Feb. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Eswar Prasad, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and a professor at Cornell University, discusses China's decision to raise interest rates for the third time since October and outlook for the country's currency policy. The benchmark one-year lending rate will increase to 6.06 percent from 5.81 percent, the People’s Bank of China said on its website today.
