SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF.— October 24, 2012— blinkx, the world’s largest and most advanced video search engine, today announced the appointment of Dan Slivjanovski as Senior Vice President, Marketing. In this position, Slivjanovski will play an important role in corporate marketing and communications, including strategic brand direction and business development. Reporting to Julia Blystone, blinkx’s Chief Marketing Officer, he will focus on growing revenue across the company through current initiatives and new market opportunities.

Slivjanovski brings over 15 years of executive experience in digital marketing, management consulting and integrated agency services to his new role. Prior to joining blinkx, Slivjanovski was with HNW, Inc., a marketing consultancy focused on the financial services and luxury brand sectors, where he served a variety of roles, most recently as Executive Vice President and Head of the Client Services practice. There, he acted as relationship lead for clients such as Citibank, Charles Schwab and Wells Fargo. Before that, Slivjanovski served as Senior Consultant in the Strategy and Transformation Practice in London, UK at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, LLC as well as Senior Associate at Apco Worldwide, Inc. in both Washington, DC and Moscow, Russia. He earned his B.S. from Georgetown University and his M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management.
