One hospitalized after cyanide leak in Attleboro, Mass.

(NECN: Attleboro, Mass.) - One person has been hospitalized and as many as a dozen more are being decontaminated after a cyanide leak at Stern-Leach Company in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The business makes gold and silver alloys. Fire Capt. Keith Jackson says the department was alerted to a "cyanide emergency" at Stern-Leach Co. about 8:30 a.m Monday. The building was evacuated and one person was taken to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, R.I., with cyanide burns. No one answered the telephone for Stern-Leach Co.
